"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Britain On The Brink: Parts 3 & 4

  1. Forget it, it's all over, the people don't care, and worse they don't want to care, so long as they can pay their mortgages and keep their jobs...

We're a nation of morons who won't stand up for anything they believe in anyway, but then, when was the list time a protest changed anything anyway?

All that's left is for us to try and grab what we can from the wreckage as it falls down around us.

  2. Did you listen to all 4? You sound as fed up as I do! It won't be us, ordinary people, 'grabbing what we can from the wreckage...' it will be those who steered the ship on to the rocks.
