"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

  4. Well, that just abt sums it all up - I post on the witless MoD, dumb English Heritage, immigration into Scotland and the death of a man who inspired an entire generation of children to be pirates and I get barely a squeak. But - post a pic of a little boy and a big hill and I'm inundated (almost). You're all too witty for your own good. ;)

  6. No, he'd probably fall off and be seriously injured before he hit the water. In fact, if you look closely, there are railings at the bottom of the hill which would prevent him reaching the dock.

That's that sorted, now I'm going to read about the witless MoD, dumb English Heritage, immigration into Scotland and the death of a man who inspired an entire generation of children to be pirates.

    ;-)

  7. He'd probably be impaled on those railings Gigits - have a heart and think of all the H&S forms to be filled in. And no, he can't swim yet VotR - that's why Social Services are coming to take him away and place him in the care of the State.
