"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Syd Barrett RIP

This was scheduled for yesterday evening but Blogger is useless lately. To those of you who care, I'm sorry it's late:

  2. A great tribute and a great loss to music. There are too many 'if onlys' in this world LN.

  3. Cool baby. My first stereo experience was listening to Deep Purple, Smoke on the Water, and Pink FLoyd, Dark Side of the Moon. I saw Pink Floyd a few times but sadly never Deep Purple.

It was a time when things were changing, Men were walking on the Moon, music seemed to evolve each day and all was new, and adventure beckoned.
