"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

  1. Vote Labour, eh? Still the moronic hordes will vote for them cos' they see all around the terrific progress in their sink estates and urban ghettoes. FFS!

  2. And those are just the official figures that don't include the 'hidden' unemployed. It isn't going to get better any time soon OR

  4. True SR - but doesn't Scotland have a very high proportion employed by the public sector - that's the only area where employment has risen which could explain it. I'd rather be unemployed than do the dirty work of this govt.

  5. OR, you're right. The moronic hordes still live in flatland - they can only see their own level, nothing above or below.

GV, true. The unemployment figures don't include me, because I'll never sign on to the dole. Ever.

  7. GV Scotland has a higher percentage employed in government than anywhere else in the UK. That's our problem unfortunately.
