"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Not Something I Expected To See

I don't know why - maybe it's because immigration into 'Europe' has always been a forbidden topic; something not mentioned in 'polite company'; a peg for the fascists to hang their hat on and shout 'racist'. Anyway, here it is in the pages of the Telegraph:
"Last year, 5% of the total population of the 27 EU countries was Muslim. But rising levels of immigration from Muslim countries and low birth rates among Europe's indigenous population mean that, by 2050, the figure will be 20%, according to forecasts.

"Data gathered from various sources indicate that Britain, Spain and Holland will have an even higher proportion of Muslims in a shorter amount of time.

The UK, which currently has 20 million fewer people than Germany, is also projected to be the EU's most populous country by 2060, with 77 million people."
The short article doesn't name the 'various sources' or 'experts' who talk of a "demographic time bomb" but perhaps they should be put on the Home Office list of people denied entry into the UK on the grounds of threatening 'community cohesion'.

There's a second article too, which allows comments, and asks: "How do we adapt, integrate everyone, and look confidently to the future? Are, in fact, any problems over integration hugely exaggerated?"

Let's see what a true believer in Islam has to say:

And here's a rather dry, facts, figures & diagrams affair:
