"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

  1. The Police say Unite Against Fascism cooperated fully with the police. One wonders how, then, the clashes could have occurred.

  2. It stinks as usual Edgar. It looks as though some reporting restrictions were placed on it.

  3. What the hell is going on? So much we have no idea about. When you realise how much shit we are aware of, how bloody awful is the hidden agenda?

  4. Lots I think OR; the deeper you look the grimmer it gets. It seems from the above that some aspects in the reporting of the protests were toned down or missed out completely - with the co-operation of the msm. I just don't get it.

    What's missing, I wonder?

And since (on lefty blogs) we are always assured that the BNP and other like-minded organisations are infiltrated by intellignce agencies, how come this gets to kick off at all, with no police in attendence until it all goes pear shaped?

  6. I'm totally confused with this. Can't decide who is who and what the objective is. I'm sure you'll enlighten me.

  7. As you say JuliaM, I find it hard to believe the BNP would be infiltrated and the UAF not. SR, sorry I can't enlighten anyone, I'm as puzzled as everyone else. The only thing I can think of is that the authorities don't want people to know the full extent & so are under-reporting in case others rush to join in (! yes, weak I know).
btw Julia, just remembered you're not on my blogroll - will rectify asap.

    That really bugs me.

What deals have been arranged, and why?

  9. That's what we're all wondering Fausty. It's obviously being under-reported but when it is it always refers to the BNP or the far-right and implies they're the ones instigating any violence. It really, really smells.
