"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

How Old??

  1. According to Wiki, Hearne was asked to take over as the new Doctor Who after Jon Pertwee. However, because he insisted he wanted to play the Doctor in the character of Mr Pastry, no offer was made and the job went to Tom Baker.

If that is true, and it probably is, then the world is not only stranger than it seems, it is stranger than it could possibly ever seem.

  2. How surreal! I didn't know that - it's something I'd have liked to have seen though. Mr Pastry dancing round daleks & cybermen boggles the imagination.
