"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I'm A Racist

I touched on this briefly yesterday but want to re-visit it.  Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, has said:
"I urge people, particularly during Ramadan, to find out more about Islam, increase your understanding and learning, even fast for a day with your Muslim neighbour and break your fast at a local mosque.”
“There are valuable lessons people of all backgrounds can learn from Islam, such as the importance of community spirit, family ties, compassion and helping those less fortunate, all of which lie at the heart of the teachings of Ramadan.”
Well, of course, Boris, because none of those things are inherent in the Bible are they?  We Christians are a barbaric lot with much to learn from the Religion of Peace.

Kidnapped at knifepoint by white racists
Arrested & charged with perverting the course of justice

Wait a minute while I roll over for the upright spokesmen of the MCB.  Who remembers this:

Or this?

Dr Daud Abdullah, deputy director-general of the Muslim Council of Britain, is facing calls for his resignation, after it emerged that he is one of 90 Muslim leaders from around the world who have signed a public declaration in support of Hamas and military action.  Abdullah, who led the MCB's boycott of Holocaust Memorial Day, was a member of the Mosques and Imams National Advisory Board, the body endorsed by the government that trains imams and was set up to curtail the activities of extremist clerics.

I'm sure Boris is right; we all need more understanding in this world and what better than a good dose of Sharia to make us see the error of our ways?

  1. Boris can stick his ramadan where the sun don't shine. I want nothing to do with a religion that denegrates women.

  2. I don't know what's got into Boris lately - just another trendy, progressive appeaser I suppose.

  3. Boris is just a politician, and as cynical as any of them, he wants Muslim votes, that is all.

I really do not have any deep-seated distrust of people with different skin colours or different religions, what I judge people on is their behaviour. What I see is a growing band of control-freak nutcases, who are using carefully-selected phrases from their holy book to try to foment what is nothing short of a violent revolution throughout a whole continent.

If a person objects to that behaviour is s/he a racist? If so, then I am a racist and I wish there were more like me.

  4. Muslims and their apologists use the "good German" argument - but it just doesn't wash - does it? I'm a cultural Christian in that: I don't believe the big guy in the sky story, but wish to preserve the culture that grew out of the Christian European tradition. That that is no longer allowed is an act of war perpetrated - not by Muslims - but by our own appeasers.

Boris is waging war on London's dwindling indigenous population.
