"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Lips That Touch Liquor

Written and performed as propaganda,  prohibition songs were intended to tell stories, often pathetic ones, of lost dignity, crippled relationships and poor health. They held  that alcohol consumption was responsible for all of society's ills. It was a failed social experiment that removed individual responsibility and it will fail again (note the date on this article - it dates from Feb 2008: the BMA keep on pushing).

This isn't one of them:

This is from the Daily Mash: As the British Medical Association called for a ban on thinking about alcohol, experts said it was time to start planning for a doctor-free society.

  1. They just cannot help themselves.

Obviously the BMA have conducted secret experiments over the past three decades and have successfully used gene therapy techniques to turn on British Doctors recessive Facist gene. First proven to exist experimentally in the Tavistock.
