"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

...Gone?

  1. Leaving is getting nearer. The bullying tactics of the weekend is a good hint of what is to come.

  2. I remember in about 1972 recieving at school, courtesy of the EEC, a very colourfull pack of propaganda sheets posing as " geography " promoting Europe Of The Regions ( Pays Bas ). Being a London child I recognised 'my' Region since it was the old GLC and gave no heed to the carving up of the rest of England.

They do have a very lengthy game plan.

  3. If we do get a referendum (big 'if') on in or out and vote out, we'll be bullied & cajoled in equal measure just like other countries. At the first hint of a British referendum the euro-elite, like Barroso, Wallstrom, will be here campaigning and the 'Yes' propaganda budget will be sky-high as it was in Ireland. (Ironic really, using their own taxes against them like that).
