"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

  1. christ, find a theme and stick with it, eh

Does he ever speak about anything except descriptions of globalisation and finance? You know, like politics...

  2. You're up late T! He never answers the questions does he - he lives in his own new order little world and is probably trying to make sure he gets a seat at the table with the big boys. He only has another 43 days left to save the planet anyway - I bet he's sleepless too.

  3. Brown's job is done. The men in the shadows have no more use for him. That, I suspect, is why he is just drowning ... he is getting no backing from the shadows.

  4. There's a shit storm coming and the NWO is just a distraction. Folks have to start thinking survival. Brown and co. are dinosaurs heading to extinction.

  5. Scunnert - what could possibly be so bad that the NWO is put forward as a distraction? Unless it's Armageddon, of course.

Talking of shadows, Mandelson's a slimy creep - like an iceberg he only shows the top third and even he seems to have cooled on Brown and is trying to distance himself. He won't like the proposal to make an 'exceptional rule' and let him answer questions in the Commons. They're probably counting down the weeks until Lisbon is fully signed, sealed & delivered.

  6. The bit I don't like about his speeches (other than all the words) is the way he affects to be unable to pronounce the letter "r" .
English chaps like yourelves won't have noticed it , but it's a piss-poor attempt to suck up to you .
Most Scots regard it as a speech impediment , unless they work for the BBC and are angling for a job in London .

  7. Ah, YO, you obviously don't share the same vahl-yews as Brown. To my ear he doesn't sound as falsely English as he did immediately after he became PM in 2007. There's another word he can't say properly too but it escapes me for the minute - Tony Blair had the same problem.

Labour winning the next general election.
