"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Sunday Round-Up

Is this the last straw?   Slippery Jack bought Muslim votes with £1.5m donation to Blackburn mosque from Emir of Qatar.
Or this?  More corruption as Lord Paul claims 38k for "main home" he never slept in.
What about this?  Local councils set up tv channels to communicate with residents - paid for out of council tax.
It's probably this: Hilary Benn aims for a 'zero waste nation' - be your own binman while council tax is spent on propaganda.
Or, more likely, it's this: Foreign criminals can't be deported.
Nope, it's bound to be this: MPs expenses in the headlines again.
But it might be this: Labour's electoral jiggery-pokery.
Too many straws to mention Well, it is the Mail on Sunday and there's a dishonourable mention for Geoff Hoon

So many straws are being loaded on the camel's back that Sunday Round-up is becoming a spoilt-for-choice minefield.

  1. It's becoming too easy, we'll need a new government in place to up our game.

  2. Yes, I'm thinking of ending the Sunday Round-up for a while - there's just so much going on that singling out half a dozen issues doesn't cut it anymore.
