"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

A Sovereignty Bill From Cameron

The Germans did it; the Czechs have done it:

Cameron: 'I'm offering people, not some referendum that we couldn't deliver or have meaning, not a cobbbled-together compromise but something "credible, deliverable & believable". 'We will stop the drift  that we've seen in recent years from Westminster to Brussels.  This will never happen again:  you will never have a situation where the British government can sign away without asking you first.'

Cameron forgets that Lisbon is self-amending.

What MEPs are saying

  1. Funny you should mention that GV, I just had an email saying the same.

Was a good attempt to brainwash us though.

  2. Not to mention the fact that Brown HAS ALREADY SIGNED AWAY OUR SOVEREIGNTY!

He must think we stupid. I'm so annoyed!

    Anyone for UKIP?

  3. He thinks we're all sheople - bah!

  4. Thing is some Tories actually believe Cameron.

Just goes to show what an uphill battle we still face.

  5. QM - if only it were true. There's a huge fight ahead.

  6. That was a speechful of bollocks today - useless tosser! If you read his pathetic monthly e-mails, he really thinks he is talking to children - sickening!

  7. Nice to know where Cameron's priorities lie.

From his statement today: "If I am elected Prime Minister, the British Government I lead will be an active member of the European Union."

The fact that the majority of people dont wish to be a member, active or otherwise, obviously is beside the point to someone who just does not understand what democracy means!

Damn - just remembered - he's my MP!! Whilst it is impossible to unseat him - too many 'robots' wearing blue rosettes in Witney! - I shall do my best to try and cut his majority.

  8. I get the emails too - we've had almost 13yrs of being taken for idiots and don't need more of the same from an incoming govt. Mr Witterings, UKIP for you?
