"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

What do you think of the widely anticipated new Conservative policy on Europe?

UPDATE: Cameron: "It won't be a Treaty any more, it will be part of European Law. Now that looks like that is going to happen, I'm very disappointed about that."

  2. We're sleepwalking into obscurity and all we've got to look forward to is "Blue", instead of New Labour. is there anybody out there that views Cameron with anything better than complete indifference?

These politicians are now so far out of touch with reality, they just haven't got a clue anymore, of what their own damned people think. Most of them have never had a proper job, and the only people that they come into contact with on a regular basis are sycophants, media luvvies, and core supporters that opine what they want to hear, and when they want to hear it.

Still, they've always got the police to protect them when we've all finally had enough.....New Labour have worked most diligently on that little point of order to protect themselves from their peoples.

  3. Cameron was on LBC this morning and he was asked about the Czech court's decision and his current position on a referendum.

    'Very disappointed'

The latest news is that he's to announce some sort of revamped policy tomorrow but that could change.

  4. You know that bit in Carry on Cowboy when the Jim Dale character gets pushed out by the townsfolk to take on Sid James as The Rumpo Kid, good lad, well that's Boy David. He really doesn't want this job.

  5. Nice image there! Cameron could have taken Brown apart months ago but he didn't. Instead he keeps letting him off the hook.
