"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

  3. You're welcome Opsimath, I'll be posting one a day incl. Christmas Day so do stop by again if you have time. I'm looking fwd to New Year's Day too - the Vienna Boys Choir!

The culture is still there somewhere Scunnert - communities and churches all over the country are organising their own services and choral works - and don't forget Handel at the Albert Hall. It's more than memories; it's still alive and it's up to us to support it - if it seems to be dying we should take it back.

  6. Saved to my Xmas day favorites playlist, thank you.
The culture is still there despite the efforts of the evil BBC. Parish Churches will be packed for Carol and Christmas services which is an ongoing trend.

  7. That was beautiful Conan, thank you. Banned, I don't know that we can blame the BBC for everything but it's true they've done their best to sideline Christianity in order to embrace multi-culti. They shd be a paid channel and the licence fee abolished completely because they're useless as a psb in the best interests of the country.
