"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Desperate, Lying, Sneaky Labour

After the fun Gordon Brown had yesterday making fun of Cameron's 'airbrushed' poster at PMQs yesterday it seems the ones who did the airbrushing were the Labour spin merchants themselves. Someone must make up the one-liners and then spin the facts to suit their 'truth'.

The original poster            The airbrushed poster

Ollie at the Red Rag has the full story.
Iain Martin of the WSJ has also taken up the story about the phony war.

  1. The billboard down the road from me has been improved with an added Guido like 'tach and goatee with a black marker pen.

  2. No horns then? At least that's an improvement on Brown's Hitler 'tache :-)
