"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

  3. Nice.
Those sea lochs can be a right pain. We missed the last fery after a day on the mountains, had an extra 30 miles drive up and down the low road to get back.

  4. Lucky you living so close to such beautiful countryside - I bet it was a nice drive as well despite the extra mileage!

  5. Noooo, we were on holiday from London, staying at our favorite cottages just outside Onich.

We 'phoned the Police to say not to worry if our staid behind friend called them to say we were late and not to send out the mountain rescue.
They sent an Officer to let him know that we had missed the ferry and would be late back, which was very kind but not exactly what we had intended.
