"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

A Tale Of Pai Mei The Blogger

On balance, I'd rather be with Pai Mei than Mickey. He talks about blogging from roughly 7:30 in. Any more nominations out there in Sunday's fantasy-land?

  1. During a "working" (ha ha) at Westminster Piggery, blockade the place, drop a swift dam into the Thames and divert the river into The Palace.

Easy and it has the benefit of being tried and tested by Hercules.

  2. ? It has to be an actual film scene - I thought you'd have at least nominated Clint Eastwood's 'Go ahead punk, make my day'. Come on Bugger, stay with it :-)

  3. There must have a been a 1960s earlyish colour fil about Hercules and the Augean Stables, must have.

It would have had Charlton Heston in it, if it had been religious so, not him.

Victor Mature maybe or even Kirk Douglas or Tony Whatsisname who played opposite Roger Moore in the Pesuaders or summat.

Or, failing all that some Italian geezer with really badly dubbed sound track and crap recording quality made on an HMV cylindrical phonograph.

Happy Sunday, drinking an Argie Red and not bad it is at €4.95.

  4. Ah! The delights of globalisation - an Argentinian Red in China - bliss :-)

  5. Gascogne GV, for the winter.
