"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

The Frying Pan & The Fire

The Magic Porridge Pot?
The Ass and the Lapdog?

Not only those who align themselves with the Left are being taken for a ride.  Every single one of us who thinks we live in a free, parliamentary democracy is being taken for a ride.  We should be out on the streets protesting.  It isn't about Left or Right in politics; it's about power and control against the freedom of the individual.

As people we should be protesting about our curtailed freedom; we should be protesting about stolen sovereignty; we should be protesting about the usurpation of our lives by the State - these are the things that unite us as people rather than divide us by pre-defined political loyalties.

We're following Party lines, listening to the news on the radio and tv and think that that's all there is; we think that's the truth of it.  But it isn't.

We need to get outside of the collective boxes made to contain us - we've all been ticked, sectioned and imprisoned but we don't yet realise it.  When we do, it will be too late.

I hear one of my boys may have voted LibDem (*spit*) but I'm awaiting confirmation.  If it's true, expect hari-kiri coming soon, in 3-D technicolour cinemascope, to a blog near you.
