"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

The Morning After

The haggling continues so I'm going for a long walk this morning - back later.
PS There's a good article in this morning's Centre Right  about why Cameron was wrong to offer a referendum on AV to the LibDems.

Can't read the Sun front page properly I'm afraid. Is it 'Going Down with Brown ' & referring to the Lib Dems as they see their dreams of power leaking away?
BTW, like 'Brown's political soul....' but shouldn't it be black/grey & going downwards?

  2. If there was any justice, Anon, the sly LibDems would be going down with Brown but it looks like they've gone crawling back to the Cons.

I like to think his soul just goes left to clear the desk and then plummets downwards :-)
