"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Why I'm Never Insulted...

when I'm called 'a Dippy Hippy':

  1. I owe a debt of gratitude to hippies; without wishing to be rude GV, as a young London teenager I would see them gathered outside the well known, and tolerated, druggie pub in their smelly Afghan coats smoking their horrid roll ups and it put me right off their 'scene'. It decided me away from drugs since who would want to do anything that they did? So I became a bit of a skinhead for a short while until punk arrived.

  2. :-) Lovely - each to his own, Banned. I always found punks a bit scary but people are just people. Btw I'm talking about a state of mind rather than smoking weed. You sound like a right little tearaway in comparison to me and my LPs.
