"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Music Theme Of The Day

I've been reading about Spain, Germany, France and the euro again and, for some strange reason, this old music came to mind.  You only need the first 25secs - the rest is an added-value bonus:

  1. Wow - thanks for that one, CE - for just over a minute I was 10 years old again, watching a 9" television set my Dad had built!

    Greta stuff!

  2. Now who was it it who said "it will all end in tears?"

  3. Hello Opsimath - it certainly puts the music of 'Jaws' to shame in terms of suspense and menace. I can't believe your Dad actually built a tv - mine could only find the plug :-)
