"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Freakiest Advert of the Week

Here's another one those weird commercials that I occasionally post over at my place. It's well freaky but the message is serious enough .....

Gotty ;-)

  1. Isn't rat poison used by the NHSS for stroke victims?

  2. It is called Warfarin and thins the blood. It is also an anticoagulant used medicinally.

If you take it inadvertently you need Vit K quickly.

My dog was always catching dying mice and bringing them to me as a game. Sometimes the game became a bit too one sided and he swallowed the mouse to win. To be safe Vit K.

Vials of Vit K in the fridge. Costs about €2 per dose.

No harm done but, be careful there are other poisons that are not so treatable.
