"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Anjem Choudary Gets Own Ch4 TV Slot

Yes.  Sit down, rub your eyes, open, blink, then rub them again.  Sorry, the post title is still there.

Anjem Choudary, who was involved with al-Muhajiroun and Islam4UK which planned a protest march through Wootton Bassett, will have free reign to give his views during an edition of the channel's daily opinion slot, known as 4thought.tv...The format of the short programme allows guest presenters to give their views unchallenged.

Channel 4 receives a percentage of the obligatory licence fee/tax we pay to the BBC.

  1. Looks like there's some substance then, to Andy Chunder being an MI5 stooge...

  2. I think we should have more snooker on the telly.

  3. "Talal Rajab, from Quilliam, said: "Given the profoundly negative impact that al-Muhajiroun and Islam4UK have had on the social cohesion of the UK, it is highly inappropriate for a mainstream public broadcaster to be providing such a popular platform for their fanatical views."

Pompous ass sounds like Mary Whitehouse, give Choudary enough rope to hang himself with his own words though no doubt the lefty lentil munchers will lap it all up.

  4. You have to ask wtf is going on. There was a piece on ConHome about iEngage, another not-so-moderate group, sitting on an all-party parliamentary committee looking into 'islamaphobia'. Why are these groups being given such an influential platform?

  5. Meanwhile, PlayTV continues to crash my PS3 two or three times a week while recording in the background during gaming, navigating the Store or using the web. When PlayTV crashes like this it stops recording – one must relaunch PlayTV to get it to notice it is supposed to be recording. May I humbly suggest you fix that next – the ability to actually record something in its entirety – before adding any more features no one has asked for.
Finally, I must also take you to task for this claim:
“There are obvious legal implications of allowing you to
    remove the adverts in shows”
