"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Outlook: Still Stormy

Whilst I'm catching up on life here's turbulence of a different kind:

Incoming!!!!!!! is spot on in his succinct analysis.
Dan Hannan:  Not content with saying euroscepticism leads to war (previous post) other eurocrats liken us to Hitler,  neo-nazis or communists.  Their speeches have been removed from the EP website but Hannan has links.

Cards for Theo's mum

The final word goes to Pat Condell and his opinion on the UAF, islamists & restrictions on free speech.
H/t to Sue at Muffled Vociferation:

I'll try to do the rounds of more blogs tomorrow - I've really missed reading them over the past weeks. At least now I should have more time :-)

  1. Thanks for the link GV!

    How goes the move?

  2. You're welcome, CR, it was a wonderful encounter. At the moment I'm trying to catch up with everything I've missed - friends/family and blogs like yours. I haven't yet had time to read the online press for the latest but that's no real loss. One drawback is I now have no tv so have to rely on iPlayer or somesuch, which is a drag. I hope to make more headway next week :-)

  3. Good to hear.

4OD is pretty good too. I don't watch too much TV anyway. It damages the thought processes!

    Limit your exposure...:)
