"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

There's Nothing Like A Good Book

... and, believe me, THIS is nothing like a good book.*

Professor David Shearman,  member of the IPCC,  has proposed that  democracy must end in order to solve man-made climate change.  He further suggests that authoritarianism is man's natural state and foresees a specially-chosen elite of eco-warrior philosophers, trained from childhood, to plan and direct human activity across the globe.

The man should be locked up for his own, and our, safety, not lecturing at universities, advising the UN or having politicians in a constant state of arousal as they sniff around for ways to take more money and control.

* Sorry for the old joke but it seemed appropriate.

  3. Humanity has need to be controlled by a powerful leader who is respected and feared, if such a person is every found they may be the savior of humanity. At the moment the population of earth is on the road to hell and extinction. Numbers need to be controlled, and they need to be put to work to create their own sustenance. The present system is broken. In the most successful animal groups they all have a leader who keeps order and controls the group. Humanity has not rise above that and is fundamentally driven by greed and avarice, the seeds of their extinction lies there. The dinosaur were more successful than us, and had tenancy of this planet for much longer. We will soon be gone. http://tiny.cc/y8uen
