"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Sir Donald Gussett

Andrew Neil had Jack Straw on the ropes this afternoon on the Daily Politics Show. Straw was closely questioned by Neil about the al-Megrahi deal and became quite flustered at one point, referring to Head of the Civil Service Sir Gus O'Donnell, as Sir Donald Gussett.  The problem is that I don't have a video to show you, which is a shame because it was a good interview all round.

  2. I'm not sure he ever had it, OR - but, whatever it was, it's dwindling by the leak :-)
