"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Sunday Reflection

A quarter of Werthers Originals to Max Farquar

Prompted by a comment on another blog I've been trying to track down Political Ponerology by Andrew Lobaczewski. THIS is the closest I've come so far and it's only extracts. I have found a torrent download for it but want to check it out and make sure it's reputable and virus-free before I post the link. If you like the sound of it, it can be bought online at Red Pill Press or Amazon.

UPDATE: I downloaded it in about two minutes and there've been no problems. Political Ponerology: A science on the nature of evil adjusted for political purposes - some heavy reading for Sunday afternoon but it puts the likes of Blair and Mandelson into perspective.

It reminds me in part of Machiavelli's The Prince  Gutenberg e-book link here.

  1. Werther it should only be an original quarter is open to discussion, GV!

  2. You're on form, Mr W! I did wonder werther to make it just 2ozs because MF has had plenty of Werthers from me over the past few years - not to mention all the Dolly Mixtures and peardrops :-)

  3. Can never have too many dolly mixtures GV ;-)
    Thanks for re-posting the video!

  4. It would take a brave man to separate you from your dolly mixtures, Max - thanks go to you for making the video, top class as usual.
