"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Cameron/Clegg Rift

It's time Clegg was slapped down, hard.  He's a complete waste of space and should spend much, much more time with his family, if Miriam Gonzalez Durantez will let him.  I wonder if he wears an apron when he does the washing-up?

Deputy Prime Minister my @rse - he reached his level of competence when he was a Brussels bureaucrat and he's now in a position where he could be running the country if Cameron's indisposed. The mind boggles to think of the startling stupidity of this blow-with-the-wind man. A political party that promised whatever their soppy supporters wanted because they knew they'd never get anywhere near the levers - until equally stupid Cameron did a backroom deal. On the bright side, at least it's exposed the LibDems for what they are: shifty and shiftless.

Clegg: Multiculturalism works, we need more.

  1. GV this collection of clowns are not a government. They are an abdication of all responsibility whilst whining that "A BIG BOY DID IT AND RAN AWAY!!!"

Anyone who is organised will be pitching up here on our shores pronto from North Africa and we'll have a broken rowing boat to stop them at this rate.

I'll bet the revenue croppers will be checking on our smoking habits as Dorset is swamped with the Maghreb.

Mind you after watching last night's Jamie edufest I reckon they are welcome. At least they would have achieved something!!!

    Phekk me what a country.

  2. GV, I have to take issue with one statement in this post.

"he reached his level of competence when he was a Brussels bureaucrat"

I think Clegg reached his level of competence the day he was born - when he had no control over each orifice at either end of his body!

  3. You're right, Incoming - it's no government at all - they're just the frontmen for the Brussels Brigade. I wonder how many more people this small island can accommodate. If you put rats in overcrowded cages they turn on each other... The 'refugees' from the South Mediterranean Region would be better staying put and building their country as they want it.

Hi, Mr W. I think you're being slightly unkind there, he must have had a crayon doodle taped on the wall at Nursery School. He's looking worse for wear lately - tired and grey - I don't think Westminster suits him.
