"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Those Old Nazi Laws

I've been looking for any further news on the plight of the residents of Zorgvliet in The Hague (HERE) and a petition has been created.

Anyone who is outraged that a supposedly-repealed law created when Holland was under German occupation in 1940 should be resurrected so that EuroJust can build bright and shiny new Headquarters, please go and sign it. I've already done so - I think this should be spread far and wide and not be left as an internal matter for the Dutch.

  1. This is horrible, I tweeted it last night. Can't sign the petition, though (being all American and all).

  2. Hi Fuzzy - yes, it's outrageous how tptb think they can do this. All those historic buildings demolished and the residents displaced! It beggars belief. Thanks for tweeting - more people need to see these eurocrats for what they are.
