What A Day This Has Been, What A Rare...

How delighted the people will be when they discover that the Eurogroup 'will allow' Cyprus to 'tweak' the terms of the theft from depositors.

It will have to be one helluva 'tweak' to calm things down.

Just don't get me started on the HoC debate about regulating our press.  The majority of MPs who spoke praised Leveson; that tells you all you need to know about the direction we're heading in.

  2. Happy is far-removed from what I'm feeling, Jerry. The only upside to recent events is that more people are realising what the EU is all about. Expect things to get much worse.

    1. Very well put, my dear GD. Be assured that I understand what you are feeling. It was mentioned in passing during an exchange between stock analyst on CNBC yesterday morning that armies would have been mobilizing over this a hundred years ago, which certainly caught my attention.
