"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

A Pre-emptive Hands Up: I Apologise

I just get so tired of being told what to think, say and do; how to act, what to eat, what's acceptable to the collective and what isn't.  I'm tired of the historical revisionism to accommodate the sensibilities of incomers, the influx of visitors and immigrants to this country who know nothing of our manners, customs or language.

We British used to be tolerant and accepting - we praised eccentricity and difference - and we had the greatest gift of all: that of being able to laugh at ourselves.

It's all gone now. Common Purpose, together with the Fabians, is the Left's nigger in the woodpile* and they've made us a nation of petty, small-minded, envious, critical whingers who think that commenting in an online newspaper is enough to bring down a government.  These softies don't know they're born; somehow we must show the government that we won't be easily down-trodden or beaten.

*If it's good enough for a Peer, it's good enough for me.

Just for the record, this was a phrase in fairly common usage when I was young but in Yorkshire it translated to 'nigger in the coal-hole'. It means something that can't be seen directly and will surprise us.  Personally, I think 'niggers' everywhere should celebrate: they've given us the perfect phrase to describe our democracy and Cameron's relationship with the EU.  It's time to let go of the old, fostered interests with chips on both shoulders.

Language is important; don't let lobby groups and fake charities with a vested interest take it away from us and dictate government policy.  What the Unions were to the 70s, the lobbyists and charities are to this decade.  These taxpayer-funded groups make victims of us all.

  1. The publicly funded "third sector" should be closed down with no compensation but Dave is not the one to do it. Nigel perhaps?

  2. Hi Banned, sorry for the delay, it's been a bit topsy-turvy around here. I don't think NF will make a good PM - he's said himself he doesn't want the job and that's another thing that makes me ambivalent about UKIP.
