"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Nine Beanrows: Justice Denied, Justice Delayed

Nine Beanrows: Justice Denied, Justice Delayed

How far have we fallen? Whether it's a Labour or Conservative government we're just work units programmed to push up the GDP. When I was nineteen I worked for the Police Force, as it was then, and when the Civil Service Union was about to strike I was invited to join but declined - somebody had to make their tea after all and I loved my job. 'You'll take the benefits though won't you?' was the response of the Union Leader at the HQ - she looked a little like this:

They didn't strike, there were no benefits. The moral of this story is that the Unions aren't for us, they're for the status quo. It suits them to fight imaginary dragons just as the government 'fights' the EU while all the time they, whatever name they use, erode everything the people of this country fought for throughout the ages. Everything is a farce and they're projecting their imagination on us. We mustn't fall for it.
"No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled nor will we proceed with force against him except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land. To no one will we sell, to no one deny or delay right or justice."
